Water damage can't wait. Neither do we.

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of this website. Restoration work itself is governed by the written work authorisation and scope you sign before we begin, which takes precedence over anything on this page.

If anything here conflicts with your signed agreement, the signed agreement applies.

2. Using this website

The content here is provided for general information about water, fire and mold damage and about our services. It is written carefully, but it is general guidance rather than advice specific to your property, your policy or your situation.

Nothing on this site is legal advice, insurance advice, engineering advice or medical advice. Where those are needed we say so, and we recommend the appropriate professional.

You may read, print and share these pages. Please do not republish substantial portions as your own.

3. Estimates and pricing

Assessments and written estimates are provided free of charge and carry no obligation.

An estimate reflects the extent of damage known at the time it is written. Water travels inside walls, under floors and into cavities, so the full extent is sometimes only established once drying is underway or materials are opened. Where the scope changes materially, we will tell you and agree it before proceeding.

Cost ranges published on this site are typical ranges for Long Island, offered so you can plan. They are not quotations for your property.

4. Work authorisation and access

Before work begins you sign a work authorisation setting out the scope, and you confirm you are the owner or are authorised to instruct work on the property.

You are responsible for providing safe access. Where a property is unoccupied or seasonal, giving us access arrangements in advance materially affects how quickly we can act.

5. Insurance

We document losses thoroughly, write scopes in the format carriers use, and can bill your insurer directly where they accept it. You remain responsible for your deductible and for any amount your carrier does not pay.

We are not public adjusters and we are not attorneys. We cannot negotiate your settlement, interpret your policy or represent you against your carrier — those are licensed activities in New York. Where you need that, we will say so and hand over every document we hold.

We will not waive or absorb your deductible. That is insurance fraud and it implicates you as well as us.

6. Limits on what we can promise

Restoration outcomes depend on how long water sat, the category of the water, the materials involved and conditions we do not control. We will tell you honestly what we expect to save and what we do not, but we cannot guarantee that any particular material or item will be recovered.

Response times quoted by zone are targets based on distance from our base at 30 Lynch St, Huntington Station. Weather, road conditions, ferry schedules and demand after regional events all affect them, and we would rather tell you that plainly than promise otherwise.

7. Third parties

Some work falls outside restoration — plumbing repairs, electrical work, drainage, septic, structural engineering, mold assessment under Article 32. Where that is the case we will say so and, if you ask, suggest who to speak to. Those parties contract with you directly.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published here is the current one, and material changes will be reflected in the date below rather than made quietly.

9. Governing law and your rights

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Nothing here limits any rights you have under New York consumer protection law, and nothing here is intended to prevent you raising a concern, disputing an invoice or seeking independent advice.
