Water damage can't wait. Neither do we.

How we quote response times

Three zones, measured from Huntington Station

Every restoration company on Long Island advertises the same sixty-minute response to every address. That is not physically possible from a single base, and pretending otherwise just leaves someone standing in water waiting for a truck that was never coming.

We dispatch from 30 Lynch St in Huntington Station. Here is what that actually means for where you live — and if your address falls awkwardly between zones, we will tell you on the call rather than after you have committed.

Core zone — 45 to 60 minutes

Huntington, Smithtown, Babylon, Islip, Oyster Bay and North Hempstead. Much of Huntington township is considerably faster than that, because it is where the trucks are parked.

Extended zone — 60 to 90 minutes

Hempstead and Brookhaven, plus Glen Cove and Long Beach. Western Brookhaven sits at the shorter end; the eastern hamlets run longer.

East End — same day, 2 to 3 hours

Riverhead, Southold, Southampton and East Hampton. Montauk is roughly 75 miles out on one road and runs longer. Shelter Island depends on the ferry.

If the loss is active, the single most useful thing you can do while waiting is shut the water off at the main and cut power to the affected rooms at the breaker. That does more for the final bill than any response time we could promise.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Do you really cover the whole Island?

Yes, Nassau and Suffolk in full. What changes is how long it takes us to get there, and we quote that honestly by zone rather than promising everyone the same number. Core townships are 45 to 60 minutes, Hempstead and Brookhaven 60 to 90, and the East End is same-day at two to three hours or more.

Why does the response time matter so much?

Because water keeps spreading the entire time it sits, and mold can begin within 24 to 48 hours. The practical version is that the same loss can cost a fraction at hour two of what it costs at hour sixty — not because prices change, but because the scope does. Shutting the water off at the main before we arrive is worth more than any promise about drive time.

Do you cover Fire Island and the barrier beaches?

Yes. Fire Island has no vehicle access, so crew and equipment come by ferry and all extraction is portable rather than truck-mounted — plan on a longer timeline. Barrier beaches like Atlantic Beach, Lido Beach, Point Lookout, Gilgo and Dune Road are reachable by road but access can be restricted during and after a storm.

Do you work on commercial property as well as homes?

Yes, across both counties — offices, retail, restaurants, multi-unit residential and light industrial. Commercial jobs add business interruption documentation and scheduling around continued operation, both of which are worth raising on the first call.

What if my address is between zones?

We will tell you the real number on the phone. Some addresses in western Brookhaven are effectively core-zone; some eastern Huntington hamlets take longer than the township average. The zone table is a guide, not a promise we hide behind.
