Everything we perform, and where each one fits
A water loss rarely stays a single service. Extraction leads to drying, drying prevents mold, and a storm can hand you all of them at once. These are ordered the way a job actually unfolds rather than alphabetically.
1. Water Extraction & Cleanup
The first phase of every water loss. Truck-mounted and portable extraction, submersible pumping, cavity release and moisture mapping. This is the phase that decides what the rest of the job costs.
Extraction →2. Flooded Basement Cleanup
Below-grade work, where the Island’s high water table, sump failures and cesspool backups put most of our calls. Staged pump-down on deep floods, then closed-system drying.
Basements →3. Structural Drying
The phase that removes the water you cannot see. LGR dehumidification, balanced airflow, cavity injection, hardwood mat systems and daily moisture logs to dry standard.
Drying →4. Mold Prevention & Remediation
Prevention through complete drying inside the 48-hour window — and containment, removal and verification when that window has already closed.
Mold →5. Sewage & Biohazard Cleanup
Category 3 contamination from sewer backups, cesspool overflow and storm surge. Hard containment, removal of everything porous, regulated disposal and verified disinfection.
Biohazard →6. Fire & Smoke Damage
Emergency board-up, soot removal by residue type, puffback cleanup for oil-heated homes, odour neutralisation at the source, and extraction of firefighting water.
Fire & smoke →7. Storm & Flood Damage
Nor’easters, hurricane remnants and coastal surge. Securing the building first, then surge extraction, salt removal and drying — with wind and flood documented separately.
Storm damage →8. Insurance Claim Support
Photographic and moisture documentation, written scopes in the format adjusters expect, daily logs, and direct billing to your carrier.
Claims →One crew, start to finish
The reason we carry mitigation and rebuild under one roof is that the handover between two contractors is where most restoration jobs go wrong — nobody owns the moisture readings and nobody owns the schedule.
Call and dispatch
A real person answers, any hour. We confirm the address and send a crew — 45 to 60 minutes across the core townships, longer as you head east, and we tell you which applies before we hang up.
Assess and document
Source identified, moisture mapped, dry standard established, everything photographed before it is disturbed. Written scope follows the same day.
Mitigate
Extraction, removal of unsalvageable material, containment where the category requires it, then drying equipment sized to the actual load and monitored daily.
Rebuild and bill
Drywall, flooring, trim and paint by the same crew, with the invoice going to your carrier rather than to you beyond the deductible.
Questions, answered
Do you handle both the cleanup and the repairs?
Yes, and that is deliberate. Mitigation and reconstruction run under one scope with one point of contact, so nobody is arguing about who owns the moisture readings or who caused a delay. On restoration jobs that go badly, the handover between two separate contractors is very often where it went wrong.
What does it cost to have you come out and look?
The assessment is free. We inspect, map the moisture, identify the source and give you a written estimate before any work starts. If it turns out the honest answer is that you do not need us, we would rather tell you that than sell you equipment you do not need.
How far east do you actually go?
All of Nassau and all of Suffolk, dispatching from Huntington Station — but with honest timing. Huntington, Smithtown, Babylon, Islip, Oyster Bay and North Hempstead are 45 to 60 minutes. Hempstead, Glen Cove, Long Beach and western Brookhaven run 60 to 90. The East End — Riverhead, Southold, Southampton, East Hampton — is same-day at two to three hours, and Shelter Island is longer because of the ferry. Anyone promising you 60 minutes to Montauk is not being straight with you.
Do you work on commercial properties?
Yes — offices, retail, restaurants, multi-unit residential and light industrial across both counties. Commercial losses usually add two considerations: business interruption documentation, and scheduling work around continued operation. Both are worth raising in the first call.
What should I do before you arrive?
Shut the water off at the source if you can reach the valve safely, and cut power to the affected rooms at the breaker. Photograph everything before you move it. Lift what you can to dry ground. Then stay out of the water — particularly if it came from a drain, a cesspool or a storm.
