What we collect

The only information this website collects is what you choose to type into a contact or emergency request form: your name, phone number, property address, the nature of the damage, and anything you write in the message field.

We ask for the property address because we cannot dispatch a crew without one, and for the type of damage because it determines what equipment goes on the truck.

What happens to it

Form submissions are delivered to us by email through a third-party form service, Web3Forms, which passes the message on and does not use it for its own purposes. From there it goes into our job records so we can respond to you and keep a record of work performed.

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, dispatch a crew, prepare estimates and documentation, and communicate with you about your job — including with your insurance carrier where you have asked us to bill them directly.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with marketing companies. We share it only with people who need it to do the work: our own crews, and — at your request — your insurer or their adjuster.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own, and it does not run an analytics platform that profiles you across other websites.

Two things are loaded from Google’s servers and are worth naming: Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces, and the Google Maps embed on our contact section. Both involve a request to Google, which means Google receives your IP address and standard browser information, and both are governed by Google’s own privacy policy rather than ours.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Records relating to work actually performed are kept longer, because insurance claims, warranties and disputes can arise well after a job closes and the documentation is often what protects you as much as us.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — subject to records we are required to keep for legal, insurance or tax reasons. Call 516-905-5970 or use the form at the top of this page and tell us what you would like us to do.

If you would rather not submit anything through this website at all, calling works perfectly well and always has.

Security, and an honest word about it

This site is served over an encrypted connection and form submissions are transmitted securely. No system is perfect, and any business that tells you its security is absolute is overstating things. What we can tell you is that we collect the minimum we need, we do not sell it, and we do not keep what we no longer have a reason to hold.

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging services for a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update it here. Material changes will be reflected in the date below rather than announced quietly.
